Teams at the bottom are fighting for their lives and the jitters set in for the promotion chasing teams, were entering into the wacky season for results, plenty of twists and turns to come.
I may be grumpy, but if we had the same "rub of the green" against other teams every week, as we do against Wednesday, then we'd be a permanent non-league team. Today however they deserved it. We were not hard done by. It did seem to bounce their way however, whenever it could.
You know why Stephen! Keep smiling, give baby George a cuddle there's way more important things in life than us losing to the dee dars!
Ah well. Going into January I was hoping we’d have 50 points by the international break, we got to 64. When we got to 50 points, I was hoping we’d be within touching distance of the top 6 by now, we’re in 5th. Annoying to lose to them, but better that than lose last week in context of the table. Big game on Good Friday. Lose and we’ll probably need to win 5 from 7. Win and probably only need 3 from 7. Morris and Dike both need to start that one for me. Most of our goals come when they’re both on the pitch
If we beat Reading were nailed on for the playoffs in my opinion if it goes the other way then I’m worried.
Because that's the way it is with the fowl we could be champions League winners and they could be a conference side and they'd still beat us.. Today was always the one we'd lose just hope Val picks the lads up over the break and they get some rest and comeback stronger in the remaining games..
True Helen we have plenty to be thankful for but it still (hurts) when lose to Sheffield teams, silly really lol but that's how it is.
