I don't know him lest what he writes on here

But to not inform an organisation you've moved, until well after you've done it and then bairn about them not being able to instantly jump to your instruction, then you deserve all you get.

Wouldn't say your not a real fan because you haven't a Season Ticket

At the start of the 1996/7 season we had barely 2,700 season ticket holders and this was only supplemented by about 400 at Christmas. Our average gate 11,000 plus.

I'm not suggesting that he isn't...

... just pointing out the economics of his decision.

RE: I don't know him lest what he writes on here

    Look. My mistake then.
I knew BFC wouldn't be writing to me 3 months ago. I thought that 4 weeks notice to change an address before a form would be sent out this week would be plenty. Obviously not.

Paolo , do you still go and watch training as you used to do training reports - just out of interest, what was the training like under Andy Ritchie and has it changed at all under Davey.

You've previously posted that you're not renewing...

... for other reasons, so why are you so bothered about not receiving a renewal form you're not going to use ?????

    No problem...

If you are paying on the gate then that means you fall into option a, in which case I didn't call you a whinger but you are either stupid or rich.

It was 4 weeks ago when I phoned to change address

but was told it was too late to change. 4 weeks ago I was in a position to buy a ticket but after a few weeks of unexpected expense I can no longer afford it. If (IF) I had the money now I wouldn't have a form anyway!! Look, forget it anyway...all I was saying is that I was suprised that 4 weeks wasn't enough notice to change address. I'm hardly criticising players who haven't even pulled on a Red shirt yet am I??

    Harsh maybe...

but I'm sick of whiney feckers.

Ooh, we haven't made an official announcement, whinge.

    Daveys gone on holiday, whine.

Our club strip is made by a company I've never heard of, moan.

Real men/women don't whine like that.

4 weeks sounds plenty of time to me.

    you're 100% correct

He must be stupidly rich if he can't afford to pay £300 in one lump sum but can afford to pay £20 every two weeks over the course of next season.

to say that your logic is stupid is giving it too much credit.

Oh and not everybody can obtain a credit card

And all they are saying is that wheels were already in motion to send out the forms. Yes, its a bit inflexible, yes I'm sure it could have been sorted, but on the other hand you could have sorted ti earlier, you could pop down to the Box Office or phone them up and renew it rather than chuking your teddy out of the pram and trying to make everyone as miserable as yourself.

Try looking at things with a bit of positivity rather than the usual Barnsley black black black.

    As I said, I'm hardly a whinger

I'm usually a very optimistic poster and always have been over the past 7/8 years. I used to defend the club to the death in the OLD chatroom! Maybe some of you/most of you weren't around back then. But to criticise me because others moan and groan constantly is a little unfair. I would say I'm definitely not that type of fan.
My main gripe in all of this is that I have had my season ticket for many years, used to pay in instalments, sometimes paid in full but this year have no options whereas other clubs have. Thats why I can't buy my ticket. The address issue was a slight moan, definitely not worth all this!!!
