I love this board, always summat to moan about. Asthma attacks from a bit of smoke, jesus Christ, bring back the old days of the brewery stand face full of some old mans pipe (ooh matron) and every game was like it was foggy with the smoke clouds - get rid of the moaning pansies and make it a working class mans game again
Agreed. Would the "do gooders" also complain when the bog rolls were flying down from back of Ponty End in 1970's?
If you were that bad you wouldn't be able to leave the house for fear of a bit of smoke coming from any number of places. I'd suggest going to a football game isn't advisory if you choke when you take a breath of smoke in. Ever tried going to the toilets in the West Stand?!
Well after reading the 65 posts on this thread it appears that the majority will only be happy if we're singing 'come by are my lord' ever game!! Lighten up for **** sake, Saturdays, lads, ale, banter = football A bet most of your sit in living room listening to radio 4 knitting blankets to wrap over your legs for matches.....no wonder this country is in such a pathetic state!!!
But can't you see the point I'm making. You don't have to walk near a smoker. You're designated a seat at a football match, massive difference & bad analogy. No I'm in the east. But it's bad at away games. I've no breathing difficulties but it's bad on chest when you have to breathe that ***** in when you go in the toilets, must be a nightmare if you've got asthma
Perhaps you need to read them again then. At what point did a single person complain about Saturdays, lads, ale or banter? I notice you didn't add smoke cannisters to your list, thereby showing that you don't consider them to be necessary at a football match either.
I was just generalising....Saturday, lads, ale, banter. BOMBS, CRUISE MISSILES & smoke filled CS gas canisters = football Is that any better for you??
I see your point but disagree. I'm not into chucking smoke bombs and that although I don't really have owt against them. The point is that you encounter situations where there's a lot of smoke each and every day, so although it's not ideal having smoke bombs at the football it's not the issue some are making it out to be. Btw, all the West Stand smokers stand outside the toilets so you have to walk through it to get to them. Trust me that a lot worse than any smoke bomb I've encountered. I find it strange that Mansford is going on about the fans in the Ponte but let's that happen in our own stadium.
I happen to have asthma, the lack of concern, intelligence and reason you're showing is shocking... If I'm walking behind a smoker in the street, I move away from him, car exhausts don't affect me at all, just the way it is. When the flare was set off against Wednesday, I had to miss 20 minutes of the match because of it (I sit in the west stand). Don't tell me what it's like to have asthma, and what does and doesn't make me cough. And above all, stop being a fvcking heartless idiot and try using your brain cell to think about something for a change.
Wonder if any of these people moaning about the smoke canisters attend bonfires in November . Let's moan about a bit if smoke but stand next to a massive fire inhaling fuk know what Don't forget your flasks next home match , Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Speaking for myself, I do not, it affects my chest too much so I don't bother with it... That cleared it up for you?
