I thought at my lowest ebb we were crap. That said, the subs were spot on and unlike me the heads never dropped.

 

I try not to keep having a go at you, but sometimes I can't help it.

Without a shadow of a doubt you talk the most drivel on the BBS. We had to dig in against a team with millions in wages per annum on the pitch. In the first 40 minutes they had 1 shot, not on target, one shot.

We had to work hard and it was a scrappy local derby with both teams going at it.

Eff off with the 'garbage'.

 

Garbage us a crazy description. We played a very good team and yes rode our luck at times but both teams played a part of a game that was a great watch. In the past we lose that game. Shows the mentality that Duff has installed in the team.

 

But it’s all ******** who deserved to win anyway as a team winning 2-0 naturally sits back unless there’s a huge difference in ability.

Likewise if they would’ve gone 2-0 up early we would’ve had the majority of the ball & created more chances as they sat back.

The facts are that at both times the game was level we stepped it up & found a goal very quickly.

 

I’d say it’s amongst the worst I’ve seen us play when we’ve won 4-2. We rode our luck at times, but the way we threw bodies in front of the ball at others, suggests we had more desire to win and certainly in the last 10-15 minutes they were done for and we were stepping it up. You can say the fresh legs made the difference, but it wasn’t a pair of fresh legs running 70 yards to get on the end of a pass. When have you ever seen a defender from a team defending a one goal lead do that in the 6th minute of injury time?

I said to a Wednesday supporting mate before the match that, despite our great unbeaten run, we’re not necessarily playing consistently well, but rather having good spells in games and taking our chances, whilst playing solid, and that the weakness of the opposition in this division helps. I cannot wait to text him in the morning and say ‘see what I mean’!
