RE: He has had his hand forced,

    Hang on a minute.

If 4-5-1 was plan A, then 4-4-1-1 has to be plan B. In fact 4-3-3 could have been plan B, and 4-4-1-1 may even be plan C. If we think hard enough we may have had a plan D. Bloody hell confusing me self, now, all this planning.

My point is he has changed things round and not had blind faith in attractive attacking 4-2-4 style of football which earned us 0.8 points per game.

    To be fair

I honestly think the variation in performance and effort is totally down to the players. I think I'm right in saying this is the 4th time this season we have won back-to-back games, but we always **** up the next 2 or 3. Why? I'm certain that the main reason is because the players think they've done enough. If they repeat the usual trend we still have problems.

Go on then , whats different about the 4-4-2 we are playing under Davey to what we had under Ritchie.

    The differences in the players.

Reid in for McIndoe and Ferenczi in for Richards.

Looks similar to me based on the players who are playing.

    "follows the flock"...

As opposed to picking several viewpoints, some of which are stating the bleedin' obvious while you try to pass them off as prophecy, many of which are contradictory, some based purely in Fantasy Land (or Nudger Land, perhaps?) and the rest impossible, due to circumstances, to prove either right or wrong.

Even a stopped clock’s right twice a day, Nudge – try not to get too excited.

In fairness to people like La Dent, he’s here arguing his point whether he’s recently been proved right or wrong and the vast majority of what he argues is reasonable stuff whether you agree with it or not.

You, on the other hand, were silent when Ritchie won games and most vociferous when he lost and, inversely, have been quiet when Davey’s teams have been rolled over but have become quite vocal now we've a couple of wins under our belt...

And people suggest you’re a bit of a wind up, mmm…

    I dont think so ,

we are back playing a system with which the players seem more comfortable.

Ritchie played 4-2-4 the wingers did not track back when we were defending to create two banks of 4 across the park.

I thought McIndoe and Devaney tracked back as much as Reid and Devaney, also Devaney seems to be played on the left in order to protect our left-back as Reid provides next to no cover for his full back.

Ketilbert..................read and learn kid...........read and learn

You should read all my stuff or none of it
You cannot judge me by picking and choosing what you want to read or want you choose to remember
I have been consistant throughout this season
    Except
After the cup game against Southend when I said we needed to sack Davey - I soon changed my opinion because of the players he has brought in
And, the situation with Shep - Im still not convinced either way about Shep
    But
I never changed my opinion about Ritchie
Even after the first couple of away games of the season

    Thats 3 players sorry,

I am guessing the changes were made as those players had been booked.

It sounded like they were close to getting 2nd yellows so taking them off would seem to have been a sensible decision.

It still looks to me like the same players playing the same system and they seem happier for it.

    5 players overall

1/2 the outfield players were different for 30% of the game.

Its called having a squad, options on the bench instead of Nicky Wroe et al.

    Playing more of a 4-4-1-1.
