    We want to sign scorers.

I think that is very likely to happen.

Think we will. Can't see Davies being here next season.

People underestimate Scowen, he was more than just a 'nasty ball winner'. He drove forward quite often and was direct at going at defences. I think we miss him badly.

Yeh in a side that was set up to get him goals. He's hardly deadly is he, probably misses 4 chances for every 1 he puts away. I just don't see how he fits into our side, much rather sell him and bring someone with some pace in.

They played one up front. Are you suggesting they should have set up NOT to get him goals?

No I'm suggesting he's not good enough for a club like ours to be tailored around getting him the goals like he was at Walsall.

He's not quick, not very good in the air, touch isn't great, not skillful and doesn't bring others into play. He scores maybe 1 in 4 chances?? I just don't see how he slots in

Think we'd have stayed up comfortably with Scowen in the side. As important as Hourihane for me.

For what it's worth I'd like a better option but unless we pay huge amounts for a guaranteed better option then anyone else would be a gamble. I'd rather keep him knowing what he can do in L1 and bring in a gamble or two with pace and serious potential.
For me it's not an either or.
