Absolutely agree....aaaand I would work like hell in training on our passing and get some zip into it.
''This team seems to have a problem with conceding an early goal then struggling to get through the heavy traffic''. It may feel that way after yesterday but actually you couldn't be more wrong...we are the worst in the division for conceding goals in the first 15 minutes, but have rescued more points from losing positions than any team in the division. Surprising but factual.
I was at the game and we were terrible I watched it back on iFollow this morning for a different perspective and it was even worse on there. No idea how anyone can say we played well or were unlucky we didn’t want it the body language is terrible, sheer effort isn’t there and we didn’t do the basics winning tackles, getting decent crosses in, beating a man … nothing throughout. Cambridge commentators say the same throughout and they aren’t Barnsley fans they expected more from us also was there easiest game of the season. very worrying
We gifted them an own goal that allowed them to put 11 men behind the ball. We had 17 attempts, Derby & Bolton between them only managed 19. You're right that we didn't play well...and we weren't unlucky but we gifted them control of the game by a ridiculous howler before they even managed a shot.
Dunno if I defend him or just try to offer a bit of balance to the arguments when people fly off the handle, but here’s my two peneth re attending the games. I’m lucky enough to have been to every away game bar Bristol. Home and away games are like chalk and cheese - it’s like supporting two different teams and I include fan base in that. I’m not sure it’s down to anything else but peoples expectation levels and patience. Some are calm, some just flap, regardless of wether they attend or not.
Ok I was referring to teams like Cambridge yesterday who couldn't believe their luck at going in front so early. They came for a point, hence the gamesmanship and timewasting right from the off but, thanks to our profligacy in front of goal, went home with all three. If teams try to play football it's easier for us to match them, and then beat them. If they come with a totally negative attitude, and lack of skill in most areas, we don't know how to deal with it. So one-dimensional, so predictable, so poor to watch far too often.
shocking side to side back wards football with no plan apart from see how many passes and possesion we can get, we need to dig in get dirty and get at the opponents, im still behind collins but something as to change and to keep changing managers is not the answer, 3142 been most successful formation i think this season but we are getting found out now, considering what he has to work with we are doing well to be where we are but can we hang on to it? my mate who is a peterbrough fan still thinks it will be us 2 in the play offs, yesterday was a horrible game to suffer but so has this season
Hoping the team you claim to support lose every game to get rid of a gaffer you dislike... Jesus ******* wept!!, lob thi season ticket int bin and deactivate thi account on here and never darken Oakwells door again yer gret whopper...........sithi.

Taking away the managers who resigned - Johnson, Hecky, Stendel (did he resign or what? I know he was apparently trying to line up another job and that was why we parted company allegedly), Struber, Ismael, Duff, which manager that we sacked do you think we should have given time to build? Morais? Schopp? Asbaghi? They are the only three we’ve sacked since we were rock bottom and losing to Altrincham. Which one do you think we were too harsh to?
