I backed 1st 2nd and 3rd in the Gold Cup £20 on A Plus Tard £2:50 e/w on Minella Indo and Protektorat. Won £77 £30 on the tricast would have paid just under £6k

All 7 races yesterday were won by Irish trainers 5 by Willy Mullins I think the all Cheltenham card should be run in Ireland it would save transporting all these horses across the Irish sea as there must have been twice as many horses from Ireland than Britain running at the 4-day meeting.

Yeah the Irish really smashed it on day four but previous to that, the British trainers were only one down.

We were trying to work out how many horses would be brought across but best we could estimate was that Mullins alone would bring 50 or so.

In racing terms Sunday is the new Saturday. It pays to watch Irish racing on a Sunday for festival pointers. It's getting that way on the flat too.

Not always easy sorting the best of the Irish out though, Mr D! In fact, it's not always easy sorting the best of Willie Mullins' out! :)
