People with season tickets for the current season would and should have priority for any tickets available for Wembley if we get there.
what it boils down to is the prospect of "teams like barnsley" fetching 10k fans 40k bread & dripping butty's & 100k cans of john smiths offering zero income to the capital , whereas chelsea buy prawn sandwiches & champagne in wembley
If we make the final and me and the lad miss out on tickets I’ll be seriously unimpressed. There’s no way they couldn’t allow 20k into Wembley more than safely.
True i read it at 1st asif it would be 10k each club which would have been enough to accommodate the current season tickets sold. But after reading the article it looks to be a total of 10k both clubs. Anyway we need to get past swansea 1st counting chickens before they hatch and all that....
5000 rattling around 45000 seats doesn't sound fun despite the occasion. It will struggle to create an atmosphere. 4 hours wearing a mask in late May heat on a coach. Probably similar restrictions to tonight with wearing a mask and a one way system. Government don't half try their best to spoil fun.
It’s an absolute disgrace that nearly a month after safely hosting over 20k, they will only allow 10k for EFL. Zero justification.
Wasn't that on the assumption that there would be 20k allowed? With slim pickings for the final I think there should be some preference. Perhaps not excluding anyone who attended the semi, but maybe entering everyone who didnt get a ticket twice into the raffle for the final?
At least there'll be no reason to do another ballot. If it's 4,000 to each team, just don't issue the final 500 that were issued in this ballot.
I don’t understand that decision. If the Cup Final was a test event - what was it testing for? What happened in that event to half the capacity for this game. A little transparency wouldn’t go amis.
Everyone who attended had to have a negative test. Would people swap the 4/5k allowance for a 10k allowance and a requirement to test?
