think the fundamental problem with howard is the fact that he has not been professional this season, and therefore has let down all of us who have paid good money to be entertained by a team who should all be giving 100%! shame cos we need a player of his above average ability to survive in a division like this.

I've met Bri a few times. On one he agreed to talk to my friend on the fone as per Tom Cruise. Never been a big head in fact on every occasion been exactly the opposite. Been a pleasure to talk to. Has actually turned the offer of a drink down but has offered to buy & asked us to join him for the rest of the evening. A complete gent

I've known him since his Swindon days

and always found him to be a top bloke.
He has always had time for the fans.
Even when out with his mates he has always been pleasant when people approached him
I've never seen him refuse an autograph or a photo.
If he is to go there will be reasons, from both sides, that we will never know.
Players leave football clubs all the time and whether we like it or not life goes on!!

Yes i was with him on Sunday night, and as Alison said my offer of a drink turned into me going out around town with him and his mates
One who i knew vaguely, anyway he didnt come across childish, he even showed me his phone and the texts on there from "the gaffer", i told him what i was gonna do and post on here he even said "good cos this isnt my doing"

but to be honest i wished i didnt bother cos folk will believe what they want to believe..

Ady people on here think I am a miserable Barsteward but

I am fecking pissed off at hearing how bad Howard is , the guy has single handedly kept us up the last 2 seasons, yet now people cant wait to kick him , fecking scum.

we should be wondering why a player would want to leave and go to somewhere like Bramhall Lane, but it does not matter one little fig, because he likes to go out AFTER a match and meet up with the same miserable feckers that slag him off.

Ady, you say leaving wasn't his doing.................but the club say he wouldn't sign a contract and he had told them he wanted to leave. This was on the official website. They are open to litigation if they get things wrong here.
I would go with the club on this.
