Out of the thousands there today they've probably had some banter with many, many people and been in some high spirits reflecting the general mood of the day. They've obviously misjudged the reaction on this one and thought they were just having some fun conversation. I'd just chill and let it go - we've all been in that sort of situation. I'm sure they haven't a clue that they've upset anyone and will probably be horrified to know that they may have. If you live local, just nip down to training and try to speak to one of them privately.
Failing that, deck the Barstewards.

 

Correct mate and well said. I had a fantastic day today, the players were fab and the managment team were very willing to answer all questions. I spoke to Simon Davey today and i asked him if we are getting another striker in before the start of the season. He told me we have a couple of irons in the fire and are hopefull of getting a player in some time next week. ( If all goes to plan).

 

It's the best one I've been to, although I still won the trashy prize on the tombola! Thought the vibe today was great, so I'm sorry the fella's feeling that way about it. I'd just forget it and tell the lasses he's had a word and sorted it and they've said sorry!
By the way, Davey told us all that about the striker over the mic when Dearne FM interviewed him!

to be fair a more senior player did chastise the lad and then thanked my daughter for the sit.it makes you wonder if our team needs a bit more experience on the pitch and off.
