A few mentions of grandkids. Mine are hopefully a good few years off yet, as my daughter only turns 18 next month and my son is only 13, but as I walked around Asda this afternoon with my daughter and we were cooing over the babies, she said all her friends at work are very envious when she tells them she’ll never have to spend a penny in childcare (if my health hasn’t deteriorated too much), cos I’ll be available 24/7. If I had a Time Machine and could go back and relive any day, I’d choose a day (I’d want two days!) when my kids were little. People who say your school days are the best days of your life are talking nonsense. The best days of your life are the year or two after your kids get to 3 or 4 months old (i.e. past the scary bit).

I effectively go into retirement on August 1st. I have no hobbies or interests, I cannot do any kind of DIY and have minimal mechanical knowledge. Just realised I am in for some long boring days!

Youtube some basic DIY (nothing dangerous) you might be able to learn something.

Video Jug used to be great at teaching people new things, must admit, Ive not seen it and wasn't aware it was now a Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/VideoJug, but it used to be funny as well as educational.

Walking my dogs. Play a bit of Xbox. Spend time with family.

Not a lot really. A simple person.

Time to find some new hobbies and interests! :) try some different things and see what you like.

I started drawing in my late 30s (not old, I know), would never have imagined I would enjoy or be able to do that. Doesn't have to be something you've always had to have an interest in.

Restoring classic and vintage motorbikes. Just finished my latest, Ariel Huntmaster 650. Selling it though as I'm no longer able to ride through disability. Done about 40 in my time. Clock repair. Did an OU course in Latin, Ancient Greek and Classical History and hooked on that. Also learning the ukulele and now I can read music I'm branching out a bit ; just got a concertina. (My wife likes the idea, but a bit meh on the reality). Oh, and two grandsons, aged 22 and 13. The younger is a Tyke and sits with me at matches.

American sports, particularly NFL and baseball. I play softball at a national level (which isn't very good) and am involved in baseball and softball administration in the UK.
    Coach under 12s football
Love travel and try and get away as much as possible.
Running, mainly to try and keep weight off although the last six months work has been absolutely mental and it's gone out of the window.
