I remember a late goal at home against sheff Utd years ago, I was in the east stand lower and I was in the seat next to the gangway. I made the mistake of celebrating the goal by stepping into the gangway, next thing I know I’m going head first over the seats towards the front wall, I broke a seat and nearly lost my b@lls on the seat post. Ended up in a&e to have everything checked- the only good part about the story - the attending a&e doctor was…..ahem…..quite a nice looking lady.

Still astounds me how Wednesday get away with that Away end still.

Still narrow stairs, concourses and tunnels. It’s never been properly sorted since the disaster happened.

It should have been pulled down and rebuilt when everything went seated - but typically, like the rest of the ground, it was never touched and just chucked seats in.

The last away game my daughter and me attended was Wolves away (the season they went up). Jacko scores a last minute equaliser and all the reds fans rush towards the Wolves fans (we were separated by netting across seats and a line of stewards). I get knocked off my feet, fall on my daughter who I then try to protect. I came away with two broken ribs and a traumatised daughter. Nothing to do with stewards I’m afraid.

And Wolves scored again to rub it in.

Agree though. That rivalry means so much to some people. If you watch the Birmingham vlog, all they do is bait the away fans for the whole game, same as the tossers at Man United.

As long as they’re happy, bugger anyone in the vicinity.
