Harsh. I think that Mawson, whilst he was shaky at the start in league one, deserves a chance to prove himself. You're right though it might be too much for him
Absolutely. I think Mawson and Watkins deserve the chance to prove themselves at championship level. Winnall and Roberts will comfortably make the step up.
I can`t believe there is any question about Alfie. Is this the same player that the Daily Mail had down as a star of the future. Probably the best asset we have.
you'd have to be a raging idiot to think of all the players Alfie Mawson's the player you think will struggle next season and something I'd be amazed if the club consider a change
As it stands: Davies Bree Mawson Roberts White Yiadom Hourihane Scowen Hammill Watkins Winnall It's not bad. But I think a strike partner for Winnall (Fletcher preferably) would be ideal so we can have Marley on the wing. He does a lot of work going back which is massive for Bree. But then, personally, I was expecting to see Willo at RB next season. So I expect us to recruit there unless this Yiadom is the dogs ********. Bree will be eaten alive by Championship wingers, based on what I've seen of him.
It's great what George did last season Django but that can't cloud the clubs judgement on the future. I'm not 100% sure about the player brought in from Barnet so I'll not compare with but if you look at Bree then theres differences. James Bree's got a athleticism that anyone can see. He's a very talented player that should take to the higher level easily. People forget a lot about Bree and the fact that he's still eligible for the u18's or was the last current season.
I'd agree with you about Bree. Before his injury he was looking like one of the best potential players I'd seen. I felt confident when he was playing but then that changed in the last few games he played. Hopefully he has a great pre-season and comes back even better than he was before. Fantastic potential - especially in one so young.
