Rose played on the opening day, same day we unveiled Lita. Then he was sold, and Lita scored a couple of goals from a yard out and has since gone 25 games without a goal. In hindsight, I'd have kept Rose, although I wanted him to stay anyway. I did expect Lita to score at least double figures though. But then I saw him play a few times and realised that was unlikely. Absolute gash.

Ian Banks a bit further back is probably the best I've ever seen in midfield from youth ranks.

My dad loved Banger. I saw his second spell only, as a lad, and I didn't think much to him. First spell he was amazing wasn't he? One of those laikers I wish I'd seen for us in their pomp, like Glavin, Mick and Tommy Taylor off the top of my head. But I don't have a time machine sadly. :D

Good point although Hirst was outstanding. I'm not sure about Airey though.

Yes he was a fantastic player, very lazy at times but very exciting to watch at times.

Memory is a type of time machine in a way someone in the future may ask you what redders,John stones and the like compared to current players at that time,be nice if I could get one to go forwards though, lottery numbers, where we are as a club in thirty years time, which I for one won't see but am still curious about.
