RE: People didnt have to queue like they have The panic as you put it was caused by BFC ticketing arrangements in previous rounds of the competition. There was nothing stopping all season ticket holders going down yesterday and claiming their 4 seats which would have seen roughly 27,000 tickets sold. How many of those 27,000 do you think would have got the tickets they originally set out to get? So until Mr Rowing gets it through his thick head to split season ticket holders in to more managable sections across the days allocated chaos will rule.
RE: People didnt have to queue like they have I know where your coming from but I disagree that Chelsea was badly organised. Liverpool was a farce and mathematically didnt work. There were enough tickets to go round against Chelsea and no real "good or bad" seats to fight over and a full week to buy a ticket for their own seat yet people were still making a meal of things.
RE: People didnt have to queue like they have ST holders with spare seats at the side of them wanted to fill these with their friends workmates etc that was why big queues on day one of Chelsea sale. Rowing and Supporters Trust couldn`t understand why this was happening stating you`ve got 9 days to get tickets. Buffoons of the highest order in my opinion and certainly not fit to represent me as a fan or as General Manager of the football club I support.
and the problem is also that season ticket holders are good at maths they know that if oakwell holds 23k and 6k of them went to chelsea with around another 2,000 going to centenery holders then in order for there to be only 1,400 general sale tickets (and a LOT of season ticket holders not taking up there 2 tickets) then there must be either a/. a lot more season ticket holders than we are being told or a LOT of complimentary tickets taken out of our allocation for the big games which maens that they know tickets will be in even shorter supply.
messed up in each of the rounds so far Gordon shepherd could do with releasing a statement either backing his general manager or apologising for his performances of late and telling the fans just what he'll be doing to stop the same mistakes being made in the future.
That is just not true If I hadn't queued all night I would not have got the seats we wanted. Simple as that.
