out of interest from those who are driving..?

    on average 30-40 hours of driving for a complete beginner. DSA rec's just over 40 hrs training along with around 20hrs private driving. All boils down to the pupil tbh, but you should know if your instructor is taking you for a mug or if they aint trying to get you progressing as you should. Also make sure your instructor is a FULLY qualified ADI.

    I've just averaged my pupils lessons..

    and it works out at 29 hours overall this year before they pass their test

    Put in for my test after the first lesson.
    Got my test date back, 8 lessons later, past first time.
