Incorrect.

Their contracts expired under Davey and he re-signed them hence they are his signings.

    Yes.

But if the players are **** and Davey kept them up he did ok, didn't he? He quite obviously did get the best out of them.

20th in the Championship will never be "fecking awesome" in my eyes especially after Davey was backed for over two years to take us to the next level

So now Robins will be expected to achieve in his first season (with one window) what Davey couldn't achieve in three

    RE: Um, not really......................

I believe Davey did a very gooding keeping us up and I think it was wrong to sack him after so few games when he was assembling a squad. As for him spending hundreds of thousands he had had peanuts to work with at this level.

Robins should do fine provided he goes for evolution rather than revolution.

OK, we only have the one point but we are not isolated from the teams immediately above us.

With 3 points a game to go at we will soon start to climb the league.

As for MRs post match comments, they don't chance my opinion on him. I hope the step up from league two isn't too much for him. I don't think it will be.

By the end of the month he will know who he wants to go with and then just watch us go.

I could have sworn we signed a striker for £1.2m last season

I must have imagined it. In the same I must have imagined plenty of other teams not paying over a million pounds for a player.

Yeah not many teams had a player out injured which was the fault of neither the player or manager from Nov 08 - Aug 09 either.

How much do you think Anderson de Silva cost? Plus his wages and wages for players like Macken, Gray, Hume, JCR plus the money pissed away on Mossto.

We've spent a lot more than clubs who finished above us.

he did. He was then injured for the whole season.

People say that we should be compared to Burnley in size etc. They spent over 4 million last year (Eagles, Patterson, Thompson, Penny). I'll wager Davey was around that figure in almost 3 years on transfer fees. Hume, Gray & Anderson are the only ones that cost over 500k aren't they?

He wasn't a great manager. He's by no means as bad as you like to make him out and he did some good things for us, while also making mistakes. I just don't see where the 'hatred' comes from.

    What do...

Blackpool, Doncaster, Scnuthorpe, Swansea, Peterborough, and Plymouth all have in common?

NONE have never spent a Million pound on a player which is why we should be performing better and be higher up in the tabler than them.
