    Who said they are?

We're comparing the change in culture/style of football and the time it took for Tevez to adapt and is taking Mostto to adapt.

I'd hasten to add that Tevez got more starts and more chances to shine and obviously had better players around him to help him.

and going by what you would call your staff

I'm chuffed to f*ck that you're not the manager.

alot more money has been spent by smaller clubs than us on players that have failed to make the grade. I realise patience is not a youthful virtue but it's needed in football. If you start chucking players out because they've had a run of poor games then you're in deep ****. 'Boro openly admitted that they sold Hignett to us too early in his career and at a knock down price when he should have stayed on and either recovered his form or waited for the overall tactical changes the Boro would eventually have made and let him fit back into the side.
Circumstances change, the hero one week is the goat the next and vice versa. It's not fast food.

You are right One is in the Premiership

and one is in the championship - completely different leagues

You are completely missing the point though - Tevez was useless for the first half of last season, as he settled in he suddenly found some form and by the end of the season looked world class

If Mossto finds his feet gets more used to our style of play - we have Da Silva and Macken to play off and gets some confidence he could be a top player in this league (and higher )

    Hignett was at Aberdeen

you should wish I was the manager as we would have an extra 600k in the bank

and I am still waiting for you to tell me what's so good about Mossto and Odejayi

Who would you have signed then

Muller, Foster, Da Silva, Macken, Nardiello, Souza all at the start of the season as well - That would have been impressive

Or would you not have had a ******* clue

    Exactly Dave. Besides...

... there can't be too many professional footballers that are genuinely ***** (to use an overblown and overused phrase). They may have been unlucky, or not in tune with the current style of play, low in confidence or whatever... a whole raft of reasons but anyone that can't pass a football for toffee is usually spotted has having such a flaw by the coaching staff fairly early on.
Tell you, kids today they want it all, Arsenal style, right here, right now for nowt.

I gladly waited 35 years for Norman Dean to score his first goal. Never entered my head to call him *****. He wore the shirt. He wore the badge. I help pay his wages. That was good enough for me.

would not have signed Nardiello again and de silva has yet to sign - hope he does though

if you look back to the top of the thread the question I asked was in relation to the strikers so bringing Muller, Souza and Foster to the arguement is pointless

Not really James. I've just more pressing things to do than bandy illogical f*ckin clap trap with a spotty youth who should be tucked up with his F*CKIN TEDDY.

    Have you done your homework?

maybe you should have done your homework when you had the chance then you wouldn't be so fecking thick now

ah well hindsight is always 20/20

I will give you another chance to tell me what's so good about Odejayi and Mossto. If you can tell me maybe you won't look like such a simpleton

    Right then

So no attempt to state who you would have signed because you have no idea
No matter that Many of the players signed have been excellent buys

    A completely unconstructive criticism

As for your comment that youd have had 600K in the bank - does that mean you wouldnt have signed any strikers at all - that would have been ace

Dont forget to clean your teeth before you go to bed
