    No, they don't..

It is a real shame we bottled it though.

We are. but at leats we have pulled out of the bottom three after Davey gave the division a five game head start. I'd guess we would still be rock bottom under him.

It is easy to get carried away, but there has been more to be positive about. Like belief in ourselves for a start and not talking up the likes of the mighty Swansea.

    Took Macken off

Isnt he our top scorer? They took a striker off, leaving one up front and we kept 4 at the back. These are the kind of things that tend to get debated on websites like this. But at the moment, its still a case of Robins can do no wrong.

He's a big job on, make no mistake. Starting on Saturday with a relegation 6 pointer.

I hope you're right. But we wont piss it with 1 clean sheet in 8 and conceding 5 at QPR and 3 at home against Bristol City.

    RE: Took Macken off

But Macken looked out of sorts and off the pace, so what was his options.

As much as you say Robins can do no wrong in the eyes if others, he seems to be able to do no right in yours as you seem to want to keep bringing Davey into it. Form this season predicted that we would get relegated.

He does have a big job on, just like he did when he came in to the mess that Davey and his side kicks left us with. Like no reserve side for a start.

let see what striker he fetches to the club in Jan

i have a feeling we will see a couple of players leave and possibly that robins will go nick the rotherham striker thats in form - Adam Le Fondre . Is he good enough for the championship though??? Never seen him.

We still aint clicking up front. Humeys still looking for his shooting boots and the rest still not hitting form.

Right, when Davey was being slaughtered I admired the structured way you defended him

... I worry about your attitude to Robbins. Give him a fair crack, it isn't perfect but it's far too early for folk to judge one way or another.

    You brought Davey up

and if you read back through this thread it seems you're the one with the Davey fixation, not me. I've admitted Davey had to go, will you admit Robins has made mistakes and his signings havent all worked out?

Im talking purely on the basis of what I've seen so far under Robins and Im underwhelmed, as yet.

    No need to worry

I'll freely admit if Im wrong, have done on several occasions. I said a few weeks ago, after the Donny game, where we nicked the points after being out played, whilst results are going our way, so far so good under Robins. But he hasnt kept that up since then. We've played poorly and got beat, albeit last night against top quality opposition. But it seems to have gone unnoticed by most on here that if we lose our 4th game on the bounce on Saturday we'll drop into the bottom 3. I get no pleasure whatsoever from seeing us lose, but what I bothers me is how Robins is almost universally accepted as being a massive improvement on Davey, yet the league table says different.

    Made mistakes?

Can't think of many but I'm sure he will do.

Doyle has given midfield some enery, sorely lacking with Colace and Halfredsson, not the best player by any stretch but brought in to do a job, Shotton has been class, Dickinson has made a couple of mistakes but is committed and can get forward.

The fottball has not been the dull bire-fest it invariably was under Davey.

Davey fixation? No, I certainly have not, just perplexed as to why you can't admit he failed to move the club forward or can't see anything positive to come from Robins so far. If nowt else, he's got shot of KO, who Davey allowed to play in over 80 games for the club for reasons he will only ever know.

    So you keep saying...

If we do go down it will be dissapointing, but I'd be more confident of a return under Robins.

Le Fondre can only play for us if we loan him. He has already played for 2 clubs this season. He came off the bench for Rochdale on first day of season just before he moved to Roherham. I think that is the rule anyway.

    they weren't free headers

Certainly on one he had to go over a Man Utd defender to get contact on the ball, they were both decent efforts that he just couldn't get over the ball enough

    The second one

he was almost unchallenged and put it not just over but into row Z, shouldve definately hit the target. Last year, he probably would, thats my whole point.
