    Were you there when a lad called 'Barras' was head boy ?

    delivered the'speech' day speech in Latin FFS.</p>

    Also do you remember a lad nickname of 'Saff' I think his surname was Dickinson, lived in Birdwell ? He'd be about your age, maybe a year older .</p>

    Barras was a right slimey ****.. but Saff lived on my

    street in Birdwell. He left the year I started. He seemed a decent lad.</p>

    I was Sadler house. We never seemed to win owt !:eek: </p>

    Nope, can't make it - unfortunately!
    I've been to Wombwell a few times (thanks to Tina) - it doesn't seem like a bad area to live in, and the Wetherspoons over there is really nice!
    I don't think I've ever been to Anglers Rest, is it somewhere much further away from the "center"? Perhaps I'll come over for the next BBS do in Wombwell if you're still arranging one after this! :D
