Looking at that the offside decision was scandalous.

Speaking to a long time Celtic fan and McCourt was his favourite player behind McStay and Larsson. Thinks he would be better used as a second striker or centre midfield instead of a winger. Rumoured he rivalled Besty for supping but said he never saw him out.

I think we might have a Barnsley legend.

looks fantastic. walks between two players with the ball like they're statues. unfortunately i can foresee a nasty B*stard from L**ds crocking him and putting him out for rest of season.

What if he's **** tomorrow? Do we start a thread writing him off ala Reuben, Mellis, Cywka etc?
Don't get me wrong, he looks a very exciting/frustrating player to watch. I wasn't that impressed with his Watford cameo, as he never showed an end product. It was just dribble after attempted dribble. Then gave a free kick away that they scored from.
But afterwards, I watched the highlights and as others have said, he has a bit of Hignett in him, in terms of body movement. And then those Leicester clips prove I know nowt because he looks more of a playmaker - like Higgy - than a pure one trick dribbling pony.
Fingers crossed etc. But let's not go as OTT when he plays ****.

From initial views id like to see him in the centre of a 3 in midfield (playing 5-3-2) give him the freedom to get forward, roam about, run at defenders, make final passes and commit opposition players knowing he has 2 more midfielders behind him. He certainly played fairly centrally from the clips on the Youtube clip. Too early to say you could make him a focus point of the team, but will be interesting to see what role Flitcroft gives him, but he clearly has masses of ability and you perhaps don't want to see him not seeing much of the ball.

Away from home, if he's not up to 90mins each week, he'd be ideal to bring on in the 2nd half when players are tiring. Good to see he played 90mins on Saturday and fro mthe footage was still going fairly well at the end of the game.

Showed "devilment and explosive(!) pace" according to Flicker, who also praised Fox, Scotland and Cywka for their performances at Leicester. Ramage a doubt for tomorrow night.

Played very well against Leicester and caused their defence some real problems. Him and Cykwa must start tomorrow night.
