Pope's going to break all the records set by Mike Atherton.

England batted like a team who thinks they can still win it even with the score Pakistan got.

I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow we declare 50-100 behind to get them back in. We've done that kinda thing before.

Think Harry wants the highest score of the innings! Great century!

England can still win. With the wickets we have left we could draw level early tomorrow then get their bazball on until tea and be 250 / 300 ahead. Then they have 4 sessions to bowl them out.
    No need for a declaration.

It's a road so should take a while to bowl them out and they might not want to chase for too long on a day 5 pitch.

They might not do but if they did declare today it wouldn't be a shock or the first time they have done something like it. There is about 16 overs left in the day and would lose 2 for the change over. They might decide to have half a dozen.

556 plays 492/3 (at nearly five an over)

What an absolute minefield this pitch isnt… you’d think the sun baking on it for three days would have opened a crack or two but it’s still, is I put it two days ago, as flat as Olive Oyl’s chest.

That said, Harry Brook has looked imperious, different level.

And then there’s Joseph Edward Root. Greatest ever. Has every shot. Can play in the old fashioned way, can ramp it up (literally) when quick runs are needed - never seems to have a scratchy innings, even when out early he’s generally looked technically sound every time. He’ll overtake Dravid, Kallis and Ponting within the next year and then he’s two on the list with sights on Tendulkar. There are no words.

Joseph Edward Root and Harry Cherrington Brook have made the most of the road. Pope must be wondering how the heck he didn't do anything on it.

Lovely cover drive for Harry's 150! Don't think he'll get to 200 before I leave for work though!

Brilliant for Joe but pitches like this are killing Test Match Cricket.

Harry showing off with sine shots there! Maybe he will get his 200 in the next 10 mins!
Highest ever test match score reached. Us Yorkies as Atherton says, are having a field day!
