I got called a Paki lover

when out with an Asian mate.
Thats was clearly not meant to be offensive.
Or at least that was not what I understood it to mean - as they spat at us!

    Not even slightly.

    Why would I?

Edit: Although to be fair I should rephrase that. I can't think of any asian people I know who get unreasonably offended or, now I think about it, offended at all) about matters of race. I can think of plenty of white people who get stupidly angry and offended about hard working families, white males &c. &c. being discriminated against. Of the people I know, they seem to have the bigger victim complex.

'Paki' 'Friend' ?? Surely there's a massive contradiction straight away.

    You're such an Eng

Thats the funniest argument I've heard in a while.

'Paki', like the 'n-word', has for years been used as a deliberately negative term, as in "you f'ckin paki". Hence why using it nowadays can indicate that you being aggressive or negative about someone on the basis of their ethnic origin. Its partly about how the word has been used in the past, and what meaning it has taken on.

Calling someone an 'Eng', on the other hand, is a new one for me. You Eng.
