Stonings, beheadings, treating women worse than animals, suicide bombers, honour killings, forced marriage, legalised rape, extra judicial punishments, sharia law, religous bigotry and intolerance on a scale not matched anywhere else in the civilised world (not that I would class an Islamic state as civilised) the list goes on and on. It must be like going back to the first century living in some Islamic countries. How anyone can compare Muslim extremists with anybody else is beyond me.

 

Steady Mario, making sense like that you'll be next in the sights of the resident bleeding heart lynch mob. I see they've already ganged up to condescend intellectually to Jumper, following his original admittedly simplistic but certainly valid point re Islam. Classic tool of the left - helps shut down any uncomfortable debate you see regarding those problems that their bleeding heart politics have helped create. Once upon a time they were probably also apologists for the Irish terrorist scum too.

Maybe so, but they've taken it to a new extreme. I grew up with the troubles in Ireland always in the news but thankfully peace has reigned for 15 years or more.
In the modern world Islam is potentially the scourge of our children's future.
That's a fact and no amount of political correctness will change my view.

Bigotry, inaccuracy, generalisations, name calling, superiority, self congratulatory, making out they're the victim, delivering opinion as fact - classic tools of the right to trample on anyone's opinion but their own.

For the record, anyone who plants a bomb and murders innocents is complete scum no matter what their race and religion. To claim one group of terrorists is better than another is just ridiculous. I have no sympathy what so ever for any Muslim terrorists as I had no sympathy for the IRA. But to claim terrorism is the sole domain of Muslims is equally ridiculous.

 

We're not just talking about terrorists within the Islamic community though. The people who stone women to death aren't terrorists, the mobs who execute men, women and children for crimes ranging from partying (yes having a party) to alleged blasphemy aren't terrorists, the mobs who burn people alive aren't terrorists, the parents who murder their children for so called honour aren't terrorists, the grooming of young girls isn't an act of terrorism. These are just a few examples. However people chose to try and dress it up it seems to me that in it's extreme the Islamic faith is the most intolerant, barbaric and blood-thirsty religion on the planet.

 

The MCB is the most potent threat to British values that there is. The British way of life as you know it will cease to exist if these clowns have their way.

 

No Mario, but as you actually say we are talking about extremism and fundamentalism. They exist in every religion, but are particularly likely to thrive in poor countries where people are more prone to indoctrination.

Islamic teaching and principle is no different to that of any other religion. It is just being exploited by extremists in volatile states by people who see it as a way to maintain power. Personally I would hate to live in any religious society, they are all open to manipulation by individuals to their own end.

How is not wanting to tar every muslim with the same brush via mass generalisations political correctness? I know dozens of muslims and only half of them are terrorists.
