I think that statement is utter nonsense personally as i reckon whatever wage he wanted for the rest of the season would be a drop in the ocean of the cost of relegation, but there you go....

that may be so...but a senior figure at BFC (who I won't name) told my son this week that neither Warnock nor Holloway were likely to be in the reckoning due to their wage demands.

Without even talking to Warnock to see what he'd actually want.

    Nowt has changed.

I would think they have a pretty good idea of what well travelled managers and their agents demand.

Pretty sure we could match what the fowls could offer....Don't want him though. If you look at his record, he takes time to sort things out.

And if Wilson was appointed and didn't get off to a good start, the knives would be buried even deeper with the word Judas ringing around Oakwell. Its not my view that he is a Judas, but it is that of many supporters. Because of that, i am not sure that he would galvanise the fans, however, winning regularly would, choose who was in charge. Mellon gets my vote by the way.

What would you think if we got Warnock and relegation

Well said Blivy. Strikes me the armchair jury are at it again. Mellon has got this team buzzing. We will pull out of trouble with him in charge, because his team selection and tactics are sound

A reason not to want warnock he's a ****er who plays kick and rush doesn't develop youth players and is basically retired.

Don't bet on it mate! Nw will be asking for a lot, close to 1m per season.

Doesn't develop youth players? Check his record at the blunts. Agree with rest, though.

Yes at the blunts he brought some young players other than that his record other than that isn't great. Too short term an appointment for me. And I don't think we have the players to hoof it as Flitcroft proved this season.

To be honest, the club clearly don't know what they are going to do, so all we can do is speculate. Embarrassing really, we should have had a replacement lined up. Seems nothing has changed under this new "regime"...
