No sympathy at all pal You should be grateful youre healthy and walk that bit further I would also guess its not the first time anyway???.We've got a disc for my lad who is severely disabled and it never crosses my mind to use it if he's not with me.Suck it up pal (givinfinger)
If I was a Traffic Warden, I'd walk around all the Car Parks in Town to look for a Disabled person parking in a normal slot and do them ff
Didnt mean to cause offence to the genuine claimant but... BMBC has the highest percentage of population claiming such benefit in the whole country, having contact with various professionals dealing with such claims im told a high percentage are false claims, trouble is proving the cases are such.
where from has anyone else heard that fact on hear? not challenging you but i got the impression that it was a very sweeping statement you made
thing is i could pretend to be agrophobic one day a year. its not hard to cheat the system nowadays with the amount of DDA covered stuff
Was in one of the broadsheets maybe 12 months ago.... It was also discussed on here if i remember correctly.
some people are genuine but some people arent and then there are those that have not lied about their condition but this government is too soft to say no to them. Two examples, a bloke I know with his little finger on his right hand missing as got a disabled badge and can now park just outside the front door of all shopping centres etc and park free of charge in places. The missing finger must affect his balance. The other example is a woman at the bottom of our street who is registered blind in one eye (I kid you not) and again has got the badge to park nice and close. I can only presume that this is because the spaces are wider there so there is less chance of her crap driving hitting another car while parking.
its a good job not everyone covered by the DDA gets a badge can you imagine how fecked we'd be with all the depression sufferers and asthma sufferers?
Shame on you, you should respect disabled parking spaces, if only for the 20% of people who possess disabled badges that are actually disabled.
the system needs changing you should have to prove that you have difficulty walking to get a disability badge and then the badge should not just be a plain orange or blue badge that is easy to copy, it should be a proper photocard badge which would be harder to forge.
Oh FFS You nearly have to get down on bended knee to get a blue badge, which would leave you the problem of how to get back on your feet. Who do you think gets them? Everybody on Disability Benefit? Err No! Everybody who asks for one? Well no either. Anybody on benefits? Yeah of course. Get real and read the regulations before talking absolute ****** about something that you clearly know F All about.
