    A group of blokes (big scary ones) were sat near me in the east stand and they mentioned a tyrone. I figured that was either you or the real tyrone (you have to be confusing dont you) </p>

    Cant be arsed reading all the responses so sorry if its been said already but Yorks a good bet, theres some decent bars/restaurants and the York Eye.

    Try Travelodge in the city centre, some cracking deals on, I got Christmas eve for me and my "partner" for £26.

    If you can stretch to a slightly longer drive, me and the missus had a great weekend in Liverpool. Premier Travel Lodge in Albert Docks overlooking Mersey, shopping in Liverpool, Tate Gallery, Beatles Museum, evening meal at Est Est Est (Italian) in Albert Docks (reasonably priced)....highly recommended!!
