"...and he left us to go to Leeds. Bigger and Better my arse" That ties in nicely with the very terse official club statement then. Bet it was a bit frosty in PC's office when Ben handed the letter of resignation over. also guessing that happened in the last 24 hours as well as I am pretty sure he will have been marched out as soon as he said where he was going
I thought it was a fair question to ask. On topic though, you'd have to feel a bit of sympathy for Patrick. He stood by both Ben and LJ when they were failing and getting grief and fans calling for their heads etc. Yet both jump ship at the first opportunity. Loyalty is a very, very rare commodity in football.
Why the hell have we been paying him so much money and why have Leeds poached him if he's done absolutely nothing other than be approachable and personal? Me mam's nice, she'll talk to anyone, she could certainly do with the brass, she doesn't know anything about football or running a business like, but that doesn't seem to matter, I think we should give her the job.
I really do feel for Patrick. He just keeps getting s*** on by people, who I assume he calls friends. I know it's a business and all that but lifes short wouldn't you want to work at a club with a man like Patrick who you get on with than chance it and work for a complete random like Cellino, albeit yes on more money. Job satisfaction has to come into it. I just can't see it being as good of a working environment as it is down here. I really hope he knows all the fans are behind him and don't want him to leave because I bet a part of him just wants to throw the towel in and think **** that.
I was always led to believe that what Patrick put on Facebook should be left on Facebook and not shared with all and sundry.
Well it is, and now it's all been deleted, the job lot. Haven't even seen it myself Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
isn't he saying it wasn't a post on patrick cryne's facebook page? it was a post patrick made on someone else's facebook page?
I understand that much, but I don't see why a distinction is made between Patrick posting on his own page or posting someone else's with regards to whether sharing what he said should be permitted. I have no strong feelings either way and don't use Facebook so was just wondering.
If it's someone else's page that he's posted on, I would say it has nothing whatsoever to do with him whether it gets shared or not. He doesn't own Facebook.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
