    Unfortunately it is almost always like that...look at the debt figures in football and you'll find virtually no club who aren't in the brown stuff financially,
    the only reason they aren't dropping like flies is because no bank yet has had the courage to pull the plug on a major club...like they would have on, for instance, an engineering company.

    I thought I had answered the catchment area point...the three clubs you quoted are financially devastated...even Burnley who I would say are the best comparison are top of the league and hemorrhaging money.It's not fair to suggest I'm happy in the lower leagues...I'd like us to be competing at the highest level....but it's not financially sensible in the long term to throw money at it..or suggest we should...but ' not break the bank'
