You don't go to watch the team do you?
So why are you commenting on those that do?

Well, I've watched 43 seasons, so I feel my opinion is valid, and I'm commenting because, while everyone is allowed an opinion, those opinions can still be challenged, particularly when they are a long way from reality.

Firstly. those players haven't been at the club for 43 years so it isn't relevant.
Second of all what made you comment that?
Wiliks Chaplin and Diaby. aren't opinionated IMO.
Thomas, That's my opinion and I think its got legs with how he was prior to joining Barnsley.
Anderson. I think he's Brilliant. If you haven't seen him in 22 months then you will be surprised I think. Better than Mawson IMO. I was looking through an article of a scout saying he was Europa league ready 12 months ago and I think he's better now than when the article was published.

I don't know why you believe I haven't seen Andersen, or any other Barnsley player for 22 months, as I've watched every game, just not at Oakwell.

I like Andersen. A lot. He clearly cares about the club and always gives 100%. He's not a bad player either. But he's not exceptional. He's OK, sometimes good. If we'd had a good season, say promotion from League 1, in which he'd excelled, then compounded that by holding our own in the Championship and he continued to look OK, and these were normal times, I could see a Championship club offering 2.5 million for him. But these aren't normal times, finances are really tight after Covid, and we haven't just had a great season, we've been relegated, and although Andersen was a long way from being a major culprit in that, he didn't play particularly well either. All that does not add up to a player that will become our second highest transfer fee received. And as much as I can understand why you like him, there's got to be some reality.

'' as I've watched every game, just not at Oakwell.''

As Gary Neville says. Unless you have the full pitch camera they use on MNF they (Carragher, Neville and guests) wouldn't judge a player so how can you.

I told the person next to me how good I thought Anderson was at the start of the season when he was injured. at Half time in the Boro home game we were chatting and he said I thought you were mad. But you are right about Anderson. I laughed.

The clubs that can afford Anderson can afford to spend money. I see him as his partner to Ajer at Brentford. Even a Palace a Forest a Norwich. These clubs can spend money. Over seas he could go to La Liga or the Italian League.

I also would predict he would be better at those clubs because he doesn't have to deal with the physical striker that much.

Remarkable even, if you're not in the trade.

Maybe anderson would be if he could pass a football last season some of his passing was abysmal. If we only got 3million for pinnock were getting no more for Anderson.

Anderson can pass the ball and he's ******* levels above than Pinnock.

You seriously think anderson is a better center half than pinnock is or was for us? Are you joking?

Just ignore him for christ sake.

    Polluting threads every other day.

We get it. Pinnock came from the lower leagues so he's rubbish obviously.

    Go away Hemsworth.

To be fair i dont usually engage with him, anderson is a decent defender but really struggles with the ball at his feet. No chamce he is going for the 2nd highest fee since stones. No way anderson would get in brentfords side or play in the premier league on what ive seen of him and thats no disrespect he just isnt on the same level as pinnock or mawson were for us.

It was better when he was banned. Why the hell they let him back I'll never know.

    Completely agree.

Steady player, has been very consistent for us mostly over the past few years. Gives everything whilst on the field. Seems to love the club and the town. I like him.

But he's not as good as Ethan Pinnock.

It might be because the penny's dropped with admin that we advocate free speech in this country.

    I hope so.

    Agree.

It was miles better when he was freely allowed to personally abuse Bobby Hassell's wife.

    We shall see.

I've given an opinion. I see some go after people that have given opinions in such an aggressive manner. Its strange to me.

Given the age of Mads, He would have to make a lot of poor decisions to better himself.

I remember being told Pearson and Rothwell Ugbo Chris Wood. I remember being told they weren't good footballers and my opinion was wrong on those. They haven't done too bad, have they.
