I think teams should be built round the players that are best at what they do. If you have a great poacher play to his strengths. If you haven't don't but don't expect a poacher to do the job of a terrier.

 

I was very critical of him in another thread a week or so ago. Until Sunday I hadn't seen any clear signs that he possesses particular qualities that warranted him more game time. In fact I suggested that bringing him on had been like going down to 10 men. BUT on Sunday I did see quality. He sidestep to avoid the incoming challenge and balance to finish was excellent on Sunday and his ability to get a yard and cross last night was pretty good.
I think there's promise there but he needs to come back next season stronger and fitter. There was one incident last night towards the end he took it into the corner and one of their players took the ball off him when rather than working hard to get it back or at least stop them advancing he seemed to accept he'd lost it and sauntered out. It was out of character with the 100% effort and commitment the whole team showed last night and I'd imagine that some of his team mates were less than happy with his effort and work rate at that moment.
