    RE: obviously goals help

I liked Hayes but I always feel that his best position was not a striker. A role I would like to have seen him play more than any would be the hole between the midfield and the front 2. Im certain with his movement, creativity and positional sense that he would have been a natural given that role. Seems to me we will never find out now. One thing is sure for me though that he is definately no out and out striker. Still think he should be at the club, as he gives us options, something we are sadly lacking at the moment.

Paul Hayes was a fantastic player for us in our promotion but he has been found out in the Championship. He is just not strong enough and is never gonna be a goalscorer at this level. His shot is weak and he cant head a ball. Good luck to him though as he will always be remembered after last season.
