Why would he be booed? He went because the club didn't want him anymore, not because he was wanting a move. Scored opener in playoff final as well, so I'll applaud him...oh hold on, we don't get the chance to do that anymore as they don't give out the away team line up when the teams are out!
Well, I may not boo him but I won't give him a good reception either. I didn't like the way he talked about the Club when he went on trial at Huddersfield thinking he was going to get a contract there. One rule in life is "Don't burn your bridges". Hayes did.
Scored the pen at Udders in the semi final, scored the first goal in the final, scored one of the pens in the shootout... anybody that boos him is a (asshole)
WF6 Tyke When you say that he was Technically brilliant who are you comparing him to and at what level?
I think he was technically good but his all round game and work rate wasn't up to the Championship.
We will of course have to wait and see how he copes in the Championship with Scnuthorpe over a full season.

RE: JC Technically the best player I saw League 1. Even in Championship I thought he had his good moments. I do agree that his work rate wasn't up to it though. Think he could cause us a problem today.
I for one will clap him at the start!! So should everyone else!! If only for his pens in the play-offs + Goal at Cardiff
He is a better footballer than all the forwards we currently have Although Mossto could still surprise us.
3 plodders and a guy who doesnt seem to be able to play in the systems the manager wants.
