    We paid a collective £1.7m for Thiam and Moore and I reckon Payne is as good, or better, than both.

    It’s gone now, but does baffle me who makes the decisions in Oakwell towers about signings and when to sell/release players. Hopefully new owners can install a bit more football intelligence into the running of the club.

    Seems a good choice if we can persuade Paul to join us . Darren Moore too a good candidate if we can persuade him to drop leagues
