    and that attitude is enouraged by many on here

    We are small town - wrong
    We have a small budget - wrong
    We are not attractive to any decent players or managers - wrong
    We are punching above our weight - wrong

    To be fair though there are people on here who saw us play against Workington in front of 1,700 in 1968 so who are we to demand anything better?

    I was at that game!

    I was also at the Bradford game when we went up to the Premiership. I don't recall us lacking ambition then, so I don't think it is true that we ALWAYS lack ambition.

    We do at the moment though - in that sense I agree with you. I don't know whether we just lack ambition, or lack funds, or both. If we lack funds, then the ambition or lack of it would appear to be irrelevant.
