I'm glad you hold Christians to a higher standard, it means you must think that generally Christians are more moral then average.

I don't think that's what is being said. Just that if you hold yourself out as a paragon of virtue and feel entitled to preach to others on their behaviour then your own behaviour is going to be scrutinised if there's perceived hypocrisy.

It's not just a religion thing - see also Jordan Henderson and his move to Saudi Arabia.

Glad of what. Where did I say that..? Did you miss the part of ABSOLUTELY to your previous question/s.
I hold all those that PREACH, of ANY religious persuasion, to others. To be of a higher moral ground/standards. Stop twisting to make up, to what seems to be your own agenda. For whatever reason.

I don't believe in any tbh Marc. I lost any faith I had, late in my teens. But I do believe along with my upbringing by my parents. (Both Christians not practicing) I learned a hell (forgive the pun lol) of a lot about what is right and wrong. And morality alongside a conscience. But tbh most of the people I know are of the same mind with no religious teachings. Parents I believe have the biggest influence on how their children turn out. Not a given. But in general on the whole. My Grandkids are a prime example of a moral upbringing.

To be honest, there's a part of me which does kind of hope that she's some sort of sadistic evil genius.

If she's on the level then this kind of base incompetence at the highest level is almost more depressing. What the hell are these people doing all day?

Trying to impress the investors/shareholders. To get their big fat bonuses even when they fail in their jobs.

No prosecutions will be issued until the outcome/result of the enquiry which looks like late 2025. The culprits will be climbing all over each other passing the buck. To try lessen their actions. Dog eat dog.

Personally, I see no relevance in a person's religious beliefs in relation to their actions. Religion has over the centuries been the cause of many wars and persecutions in addition to the many good things done in the name of God. All religious and non-religious people are basically just people, imperfect to some degree or other. Religion was and still is simply a method for controlling the masses by the powerful few.

Spot on, you managed to say in 10 words what I said in the above verbose post. :)
