Can't see the problem...if you can't make the game the club will refund you or you could just moan for the sake of it
It’s a cracking deal. There are reasons as above why it is dearer in the day, which mainly are due to planning - stewards, policing and kiosk staff as well as food requirements etc. Also there’d be too much cash on turnstiles too. This way, they get as many confirmed bums on seats before the morning of the game. I’d also add, It’s always tricky knowing who’s gonna turn up when it’s on Sky. A lot of pay-on-gate folk don’t always come anyway when it’s on Sky. When done the club overall. It should be a great game hopefully.
So if someone got a ticket for a tenner now and didn't go would they be able to go down and get the refund Monday? Genuinely asking.
I'll get my work friend to try and find out if that's the case I'm sure he would be fine with that. I didn't know you could get a refund after a game.
I have done it in the not too distant past so he should be fine. No harm in asking as you buy though for reassurance. Ps He may be able to put it towards future tickets also
My minds blown. I can’t believe there’s actually people moaning at this offer. If you genuinely can’t order online or get to the club shop personally by Friday and don’t know anyone who can help you with this then I’ll help out. Just drop me a PM.
Wasn't the reason I asked tonstsrt with. The offer is great and I'm not trying to knock what the club have done here. The person in question won't know until sat morning if they can go. Further to that I just find it odd that the ticket price needs to double on the day. But I don't run a football club so maybe it does.
I'm a season ticket holder and the £10 is less than I've paid for my ticket per game. Are the club going to refund me the difference? Doubt it. That's why there are people averse to these offers.
Thinking a small minority, I'd only take issue if over the season it worked out cheaper not to have a season ticket. Crack on with the offers I say and try and get bums on seats.
How much did you pay for that season ticket? Divide that by 23 games and that’s how much you’re paying for a ticket a game so by getting the season ticket you’re saving each match. Also it puts you in line earlier for away matches if you should want to purchase a ticket. Why should the club refund you? This line of thinking is embarrassing, thinking the club owes you money when they put an offer on for supporters who don’t have a season ticket.
If it's all three games for a tenner each in december, like we are charging Saturday, I won't mind as a season pass holder casuals getting in for around 13 quid less than me over the three games. If it was all the time or a regular thing fair enough. But this would be against three of our biggest promotion rivals in quick succession. Portsmouth for example could bring to us 3k-4k if they carry on as they are. It's also christmas month where money is tighter for people. If we can help families out, why not People would probably buy some tickets for people as christmas presents.
