    It's not always a case of supporting your home town club or local club. I have lived in the Cambridge area for 30 years, and fortunately my two teenage sons are avid Reds supporters. They don't have a "second" team in the Prem who they support.

    A chap I know in his 40s is an Arsenal fan and he is on a list at the club to become a season ticket holder. Trouble is there are 96,000 people in front of him!

    what really boils my p*ss is when we go to Swillsbro and see that Barnsley Owls Banner,
    want to run over and set it on fire and the cnuts who stand behind it ,
    I can understand those who follow and support big teams , but wendies ffs ,
    history of Bent Players , Killer Ground and whinging moanin **** fans ,

    But Partick Thistle do not play in Partick. Their ground is in Maryhill. A wee bit away. Perhaps your friend chose Partick so as to alienate himself from the pathetic religious bigotry which two other clubs surround themselves with.
