Perkins

Wish he would shoot when just outside box and in space rather than pass back or sidewards. He has a good shot when he decides to shoot, apart from that he had a tidy game

 

Not his best game today, by a long way, but no I wouldn't drop him.

 

I agree, he was poor by his standards today. I don't agree that he stopped Butterfield from being effective though, I thought the Middlesbrough players managed that themselves. When they were attacking first half I thought Butterfield did well in drifting away from Perkins, creating himself loads of space, but he never got the ball in the dangerous areas.
