I dont think its anything to do with the way he plays. I wouldn't say he's over physical for a CB and he definitely doesn't do a great deal of running. I think he's just injury prone full stop. He's played far less games that Cranie and Nyatanga. I like Rambo but i'll think he'll struggle to ever stay fit for even half a season.

 

Think Ramage & Crainie will only be re signed on vastly reduced wages, unless of course we are promoted, in which case I'd expect them both to be released. Expect JYM to be going whatever happens.

 

I understand if LJ doesn't fancy Ramage but Crainie is in our top three of players IMO and in his prime.

 

Yeah, but he ain't gonna get championship wages next season if we are in L1 & I'm sure if we went up LJ may be looking for new blood. Cranie has played for 2 relegated championship teams in succession. Not blaming him as an individual, just saying that the money he is currently on won't be offered in L1.
No one came in with an offer to take him off our hands in the summer & I can't see there being any championship clubs in for him, hence him having to take less money.

 

7 games whilst Crainie was injured, W2 D1 L4, previous 7 games with Crainie W0 D3 L4.

Just the timing of the games and our lack of consistency that sealed our fate.
