    And on the last point. The leave campaign was driven by leaving with a great deal so I agree we should fulfil that.
    There has never been a mandate for leaving with no deal and renaging on our international obligations.

    I take it then you have no evidence to support your statement . Ok .
    You really have to get out of the political straight jacket and live in the present .
    The so called austerity measures were the answer for the time . How do you run your domestic finances ? Have you heard of the Seven fat years .Seven lean years .?

    I lived through the so called austerity as well ,but I won’t let it leave me bitter for the rest of my life ,going to enjoy what is now on offer ,can you believe I may vote conservative at the next election if things continue to play out as now .

    Life isn’t really as bad as you make out is it ?

    don’t cloud the issue in order to support your point of view

    They’re not achievements, just crowd-pleasing soundbites that, given his proven track record as a complete liar, he’s not likely to fulfil. Throw in the fact the money is simply the savings they’ve forced the recipients to make in recent years and you’ll forgive us if we don’t see Johnson as any kind of generous benefactor. Not saying the money wouldn’t be welcomed and much-needed, just that the lying c.u.nt should get any praise should it ever actually materialise. I wouldn’t expect any praise or thanks if I stole your telly then pledged to bring it back at some vague point in the future.

    You haven't read it but appear to believe I am rattled by it!!! Not too good at this debating lark are you? Oh! and by the way the last time I looked the mayor of a provincial tourist town in the Province of Malaga does not make Spanish Govt policy. I repeat No legitimate expats will be forcibly deported. I will not even bother responding to the first sentence in the 2nd paragraph.

    I sense you are thrown by his positive start to his premiership ,what policies would you prefer. ?

    On your last point ,yes I would congratulate you for reforming your life style and making reperation.That is what restores my belief in human nature

    Take on board a bit of Boris’s optimism ,instead of opposition doom and gloom .

    What a wonderful example of hypocrisy. In the same post you start by 'virtue signalling' claiming the moral high by looking out for your fellow man to "benefit the majority and the most vulnerable in society". Then you end the post by wishing ill on a group of people simply because they disagree with your view of what is right and wrong in teh Brexit situation. Not only that but the sweeping generalisation (and ageist to boot).

    Read the long post and you would realise it is only long because I felt the need to rebut the ill informed misinformation that some on here seem intent on posting on a topic they know very little about except what they see on TV.
    Certainly in Italy there has been a working party of ex-pats in communication with the Italian Govt at many levels via the UK ambassador. Whilst there are still some outstanding issue to resolve most problems have been resolved and are not dependent upon reciprocal agreement with the UK.

    Not at any point did I suggest they would nor do I think they would. Your rude, unwarranted initial response got my back up, if you hadn't have been so obnoxious you wouldn't have received my snarky comment in reply.

    I wasn't rude to you prior to that yet you accused me of lying. So forgive me for finding it amusing that you may end up losing some reciprocal benefits the EU afford you - not because you have a different view to me, because you are rude.
