Read somewhere that the voting slips went out really early which would explain the lack of Helik and maybe one or too more

    Can't argue with that really.

Just glad that Cantwell isn't in there :D

I don’t watch all the others regularly but it seems a bit harsh that neither Mowatt or Helik have made it in

A bit weird there's no one from Watford there too.

The Second Tier podcast had Ismael as manager of the season, Styles as best left back, Mowatt in midfield, Styles as most improved player.

Can't argue with much of it. Odd that Olise is in there, as not sure he played enough to have desired impact. Armstrong in there based on stats, but he also played a part in a horrific run which too Blackburn from play off contenders to a potential relegation battle.

Imaginative, expansive. They managed to shoehorn a player from a THIRD team in there!

And possibly the inclusion of Armstrong, who was on fire in the first half the season but didn't do much after that.

He finished the season with two hat tricks in his last three games. He finished the season with 12 goals in 16 games.

Isn't this one that is voted for by the players or have I got that wrong?

The way we wear teams down I think we standout more as a collective than as individuals. There's only maybe Mowatt who I was expecting to have a chance of getting in the PFA one and wasn't holding out hope for the others to be recognised. Especially as the voting was before or during our amazing run from mid table to the Playoffs.
