There wasn’t a clear man of the match & I think Killip’s best moment came after the announcement.

At least Phillips produced about the only moment of quality all game with the half volley on the outside of the boot to DKD. Slim pickings though. No one impressed.

I think Nkwali's passing first half was a delight, but he faded a bit second half. Between him and Killip for me

1 excellent save in 1st half. Blocked another.A couple of very good saves in 2nd half 6 in total. Phillips needs to decide if he wants to be at the club. Cos I reckon his head may be elsewhere. A couple of incidents early on, he made extremely poor attempts to get the ball.
Our passing throughout the team was woeful in the main.
other than Killip, I'd struggle to give more than 3/10 for anyone today. As I say, they will know it themselves. Back to the drawing board.
It pains me to say it, But Stevenage fought for every ball. Lost nothing in the area. Deserved the win.

Thought DKD was the only player who put the effort in today. Killip had not much to do apart from tip a few over the bar that were straight at him.

All about opinions mate. I thought Killip made at least 2 excellent blocks. 1 in each half of which 1 he held on to. And the one in the first half when I think it got a deflection and he managed to push over.
When you mention only one to put effort in. That generally refers to outfield players. And I thought all struggled.

Thought OKeefe and Farrugia put in decent shifts as did DKD

he should have been sent off really numerous fouls and late tackles but the ref was far too lenient with them all game. Booked our first real naughty challenge which was actually an avoidable obstruction really but cos it’s late in the game it becomes a booking.

Everyone on the Stevenage team imo. Beat us hands down on effort. They never let up. They came with a game plan and snuffed us out. And created far more genuine chances.
If I remember rightly, Pretty much the same at their place. Outfought.

I thought he put some good set pieces in today. Corey is so up and down. Puts in a pin point cross one minute and then struggles to control the ball the next.

Yea and I think that typifies every man in our squad this season....one minute championship class 10 mins later pub standard.
The only flattering fact today was it was only 1..0.....it could have been more and should have been.
Without going too overboard I think we all kind of know we have a poor squad who occasionally play very well but obviously not today!

Tbh mate. No one got on to the good ones. We didn't win one aerial challenge in the box. Corners free kicks as well. That I can remember.

Not the kind of player a spreadsheet finds but one that every side needs. Maybe the penny will drop one day…..

O'Keeffe has the 2nd highest number of assists this season in the whole of League One.

In fairness to DKD, though he wasn't great, he covered loads and loads of area today and didn't stop running

O Keefe for me, if only for his work rate. Round me we all thought the son sets were taking the piss when Phillips was named mom. Dreadful.

Seen this twice now. Why did you think that? A constant criticism of Phillips is hes largely anonymous in games, now all of a sudden its because he's downed his tools and thinking about other clubs?

Daniel Phillips is only 24 so ideal age for us. Could easily have been sent off by another ref today by getting a second yellow for a bad challenge or when he kicked the ball away down by the west stand.

Just the type of horrible player we don't have. Our lads are just too nice.
