Fair enough but why not have themin the squad if you need them but go with your own players first, got to say I agree with Jay I have never understood the point in upsetting the applecart by ignoring contracted players that you are keeping to put one in who is only here short term and really not much better (if at all)
Makes me wonder if some of these loan players are being trialled to see if we can or want to fetch them in the following season, the last few managers have done this IMO and its fecked the back end of our season up and cant do much for morale of some of the contracted players.
I do agree with that to a great extent and was non too impressed with Delap coming in to replace Stones. O'Grady hardly had me wetting myself either, but we do have limited options up front, though I would have liked to have seen Tudgay here longer. But we do take it for granted when the loans are a success and not so quick to question the policy. Trippier and Drinkwater for example became our players for the time they were here. If Tunnicliffe is of the same quality and settles in for the immediate term, then we are looking at quite a formidable midfield with versatility and depth. As I mentioned in another post, it's a good thing Flicker is networking with the likes of Man U though he has probably had to guarantee Tunnecliffe games.
I do hope your comments on 'networking' are untrue. We are in a relegation battle, no time or place for it. If we are guaranteeing loan players games it needs to change, and quick.
