everything about it was horrible. just leather the ball into the stand, and you're in the final. the way they managed that 2nd half was abysmal. they've only got themselves to blame. fair play to Wednesday though. made history, equalised with the last kick of the match, recovered again after going down in ET, then scored every pen. got to give em credit.
So you think only 10,000 of us will find our way down there? There have been plenty of matches at Wembley with two bigger clubs than us and Wednesday descending from the same neck of the woods and I've never heard of any serious issues. If we get through there will be about 30k of us and 45k of them, at a rough guess.
It's United v City the week after with a train strike. I think we'll find a way to get there. Folk are acting like a right set of fannies tonight.
Is that right? So 36k per side and 17k corporates? I was thinking if we sent a few thousand back they might go to them? Not really sure how it works.
Yes, we got slightly less for the cup semi but we were then given an extra 500, we took the most out of all 4 teams. Leeds had 36k v Donny.
I have no idea about how it all works, but i guess that would be right. My first thought is with all due respect why would 17,000 corporates (prawn sandwich brigade) be that interested in a league one final..
Last year Sunderland allocated 37,480 in same play off final, Wycombe sold 22k and overall attendance was 72k. 13k corporate tickets sold
I believe that there are some Wembley corporate packages which include all the finals. Not sure how many tickets that accounts for, though. It's a fair bet that many of them will end up in the hands of Wednesday fans.
I'd expect Wednesday to sell similar, and us to take a lot more than Wycombe. Would likely be a crowd in excess of 80k.
