think the club should have night club bouncers on the gates also. so any scruffy looking gits dont come in and give the club a bad name of being supported by a bunch of tramps

The difference is that if these dick heads keep running on the pitch then soon enough the club WILL face heavy penalties. It happens all the time with the these chav scum who think they're big and clever, and eventually we'll get fined or deducted points. FACT

    Not FACT

I wreckon the football league take into account the nature of pitch invasion, eg score, level of hostility, end of season game or not. Running on for positive achievements do not tend to get punished, running on when losing to attack a player or opposing fans, or to try and get a match abondoned will be punished.

therfore running on v liverpool in Prem season very bad, end of season pitch invasion no prob

    1) It's illegal
    2) It damages the pitch
    3) Could result in injuries to players (and/or the invaders themselves)

    There's three for you.

If it is so bad why do the club/police make no real atempt to stop it??? Because they know it is unlikely to result in any trouble and is just a bit of fun!

    Sorry but I think that's a load of B*ll*cks.

It's always gonna appear threatening to the away team especially...and it seems pretty clear plenty of our own players aren't overly comfortable being mobbed by idiot chavs.

I can't understand how anyone can justify running on to the pitch in such circumstances, no excuse in my eyes (and I'm only young myself - so I can't be labelled a miserable old so and so - I just have common sense!)

I'd much rather have seen the players do their lap of honour and get the reception they deserved from our fans, but no, the idiot minority weren't having any of that

Just listened to Mr Fry's latest podgram

I didn't know Oscar Wilde was Irish, which I guess would make Stephen want to beat me within an inch of my life.

I think those that would see it as an improvement are in the minority. Those that don't go on the pitch make a choice not to, they are not prevented.

there are those that go on the pitch, those that don't and those that are not sure wether to or not due to peer pressures. The vast majority on Saturday actually left the ground altogether at the end and didn't stay to applaud the players.

Come on, you could tell by looking at them.

When I was 14 or so, I had no desire to leg it on the pitch, run around like a loon, then **** off again.

Just spoils it for the thousands who want to congratulate their team in a respectful manner, and it spoils it for the players who can't show their appreciation because they just get mobbed.
