When I watched them train in Spain last week, the most disappointing thing was Davies's first touch, shocking as ever!! Chris Dagnall's however.....
I'd be gutted if we lost a striker who scored one goal in 5 months and had the touch of Fola Onibuje about him. Gutted.
I know what you mean. I'd be gutted to lose a centre half who was an ever present in the third worst defence in the Championship.
Just listened to the interview (was on radio sheffield around about 6:20pm ish?) and Hill said it was a player recruited last preseason and who fans didn't think would do much. My guess is Perkins or McNulty.
Why does he always feel the need to mention fans? Normally how wrong they are. I have never known a manager do it so much.
I was trying to cast my mind back and i don't recall huge amounts being said about the Done & Wiseman deals. I remember the stick (some moderately funny) handed out for McNulty having played so little football and Perkins getting criticism.
Good point. I don't remember him telling Radio DeeDar just how bang on we were about Dagnall, Wiseman and Nouble etc... I also can't recall him ever criticising those players in the press, despite their poor performances. Wheras, I can remember him slating Vaz Te and Noble-Lazarus, straight after they'd scored or assisted in the game just gone. The crazy world of King Keith. Let's hope he finds the marbles he lost post-January.
It`s just his bairning, I told you so, look at me attitude thats all. Some fans think its great. Not much different to us lot on here, although we aren`t the head honcho.
True. I went out of my way on a daily basis until October, telling everybody how awful Vaz Te was. I also said that Dagnall would be a decent signing, and the recruitment of Michael Tonge was exciting. I'm always right.
