He certainly isn't 100% perfect who is ? And yes, I was a little dismayed at the apparent acceptance of Championship football as the best we could do, but the way he handled the run in last season and having seen first hand how the players are around him, I just feel that more by luck than judgement we seem to have at last started to progress again.
I just hope the weight of expectation next year doesn't do for him if we struggle ( which we may well do, even with new signings)

RE: Interesting Dirk.. Don't think so. It's just that I've heard stuff come out of Oakwell afore, due to slack jaws after a few drinks.
That's what worries me. we have had too many Managers and need to give Ritchie time to consolidate. The Board need to continue to back him too.
RE: Are the comments made by people I think that they are just 'drunk' in the pub and say this because they think (wrongly) that it makes them loook good.
Now this post by Dirk is what I expected..........but we...... but we got all the usual drivel from all the usual suspects But saying that, yer can't knock a nail into a knot (tumbleweed)
stupid comments can remember going back into the mount after one of the games towards end of season (think it might have been bradford match at home) with my mate and these oldish guys were in corner saying how reid isnt a good defender and should be playing in midfield!! think it mustve been same guys who were behind us at game and did nothing but criticise the team all the way through! bet they werent moaning at cardiff though....
RE: Best manager since Danny Wilson He has to be the best manager since Wilson! Look at the previous managers: Paul Hart - Failure Gudjon Thordarson - Failure Jon Parkin - Failure Nigel Spackman - In my oppinion the Worst Manager John Hendry - Failed as a Manager full stop Bassett - Failed in Playoffs All of them complete failures.
