If we were getting anyone from Walsall I'd try and get Mantom, looked lively and the only one capable of doing anything on the ball in both the legs. Young and looks like he'd make the step up. Payne, O'Dowda, Wylde at Plymouth, Roofe, Madden and Reece Brown would be good signings.

Paddy madden is a good shout. Scores as many as Bradshaw but would cost far less. Greer would add valuable experience at the back. Burkes always been a quality winger

Weirdly the Wallsall lads I spoke to don't have a good word to say about Mantom but like you I thought he was good.

Madden had a championship stint before and didn't find it easy but a good player at league 1 level.

I'd perhaps offer a trial and cast an eye over Joe Lewis, Scott Wootton, and Tommy Spurr... but not much to shout about!

    Tommy Spurr maybe.

Also heard Matt Smith at Fulham is free to find another club. Big striker aged 26 ex Leeds 6 ft 6 tall.

Yes I would take Matt Smith after his spell at Bristol City where he tore up League 1.

Im not commenting on the names on the list. But in general until we introduced Long, Hammill etc our season took an upturn. Im guessing our current squad has less than 150-200 Championship appearances between them. Reckon our recruitment will see a couple of 'seasoned' pros intriduced. The right fit for our club vision but a bit more experience to mix wi Grove St Kids

Apart from Hammill and White who were both signed after being released.

Some really good names on that list. If a club could keep Jonathan Woodgate and James Vaughan fit long enough to play a significant part of a season, they would have two brilliant players.

Whilst swallowing up most of our budget. We wouldn't even look at those two regardless.

Hammill and White were signed from Championship to League One.

These are all Championship to Championship.
